Norton Cyclones won
the 2009 BIPHA U18 National Championships this weekend. Our
other representatives were Grave who finished 4th and Killamarsh
who finished 5th.
All at Central would like to wish everyone going the USA for
the AAU Junior Olympics good luck, but above all enjoy the
experience.
22nd
June
Central are helping to sponsor the Help
our Heroes U10 and U12 tournament on August 8th (U10) and
August 9th (U12). Entry will be £10 per player with
ALL proceeds going to this very worthy cause. The Army Recruitment
Team will be present with their interactive display. Anybody
wanting to enter, please see Kelly Coles.
Its a very worthy cause so lets all support these brave solders
and turn out in force to raise some serious cash for them.

We are in the process of sorting out
next years dates etc. Would all clubs please get in touch
with Dawn Marrow
and let her know at which age groups
you intend to enter. If we can get enough Senior teams to
enter, we propose to run 2 leagues for the season. Any new
senior teams, interested in joining Central are more than
welcome to get in touch with Dawn Marrow. The new Senior division
will be aimed at the rec hockey teams.

Warriors won the 2009
Senior Nationals this weekend with a convincing win over Dundee
Tigers. Congratulations go to all the players and officials.
Our other representatives, Junior Cyclones finished 3rd. This
weekend sees the 2009 U18 Nationals with Norton,Graves and
Killamarsh representing Central.

All at Central would
like to wish Jordan Bodfield a speedy recovery from his nasty
accident. Hopefully we will see him back playing soonnot only
for Killamarsh but also for his country. Get well soon Jordan
we are all thinking of you and of course your parents.

a slight fixture change to this Saturdays U18 games. Game
69 is now Killamarsh Juniors v Peterlee and game 76 is now
Junior Cyclones v Peterlee.

weekend of hockey saw both our U12 & U14 Superleague teams
take the 2009 BIPHA Superleague titles. A huge well done to
all the players, coaches and managers on 2 excellent performances.
